CERIS INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR

The Arab Spring: Political change and multilateral crisis management in practice (VIDEO) (Programme). The sessions will focus on political transition in Tunisia and in Egypt and on the future topology of the Middle East.  It will explore fundamental issues such as the collapse of authoritarian regimes, the role of political Islam, the rise of democratic forces and the challenges that those generate for the West. The seminar will equally discuss the role of the new social networks and the multiple aspects of multilateral crisis management, with a special focus on Libya.
