CERIS Interview Pr. Michael Cox LSE - London School of Economics & Political Science

  

Professor Michael Cox is a professor of International Relations at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is specialized in the politics and power of the United States, in the transatlantic relations and in international terrorism. He is a prolific author and his latest books are: The global 1989 - continuity and change in world politics (Lawson, George and Armbruster, Chris and Cox, Michael, eds., Cambridge University Press, Cambridge, UK, 2010), Soft power and US foreign policy: theoretical, historical and contemporary perspectives (Parmar, Inderjeet and Cox, Michael, eds., Routledge, London, 2009) and US foreign policy (Cox Michaels and Strokes, Doug, eds., Oxford University Press, Oxford, UK, 2008). Moreover, he publishes in numerous academic journals like The British journal of politics and international relations or Political studies review. M. Cox is a member of the Chair of United States Discussion Group at the Royal Institute of International Affairs and a former member of the Executive Committee of the European Consortium of Political Research.
