| Professor Robert Falkner is a Senior Lecturer in International Relations at the LSE. He also holds the position of Convenor of the LSE Summer School and is an associate of the LSE's Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment. His areas of interest cover international political economy, with special emphasis on global environmental politics, multinational corporations, risk regulation and global governance. He is the author of Business Power and Conflict in International Environmental Politics (Palgrave Macmillan, 2008), as well as many academic articles and other publications. Professor Falkner was the coordinator of the international research project on the transatlantic dimensions of nanomaterials regulation that issued the report: Securing the Promise of Nanotechnologies: Towards Transatlantic Regulatory Cooperation (2009). He currently serves in the editorial committee of the European Journal of International Relations, were previously he held the position of associate editor.
