Dr. Theodoros Koutroubas  (UCLouvain, Director of CEPLIS) will deliver the lecture on “The Diplomacy of the Holy See” on Friday January 30th, 2026 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Dr. Theodoros Koutroubas holds a PhD in Political Science from the Catholic University of Louvain (Belgium). He was born in Greece and studied Greek and French philology in Athens and Bordeaux, continuing his academic career in the field of political science and international relations in Athens, Oxford and Louvain-la-Neuve. He is the director of CEPLIS (European Council of the Liberal Professions). He has published several articles on the interaction between the different cultural components of modern European societies and on the relationship between religion and politics, particularly in the Middle East. He is a visiting professor at the School of Political and Social Sciences at UCLouvain.
