Biography

Mr. Nicolas Cornil is the founding Director of the CERIS-Diplomatic School of Brussels. Prior to this, he was, between 2005 and 2016, Project Manager of “Centre Européen de Recherches Internationales & Stratégiques” (CERIS) where he was the initiator and director of the “Journal of International & Strategic Studies” published by CERIS. This journal is an innovative tool dedicated to the latest research in the field of international relations and development. He was the Director of CERIS (2016-2018). Between 2018 and 2025 he was the founding Director of the Diplomatic School of the “Université Libre de Bruxelles” (ULB). Currently, he is responsible for the daily management of the CERIS-Diplomatic School of Brussels and its programs. He is the coordinator for various inter university or internal development projects. He was responsible for organizing a number of educational programs. He is the project manager for the numerous partnerships of CERIS-Diplomatic School of Brussels with other institutions. Mr. Cornil has also developed socio-economic development projects for emerginig countries and supported by CERIS. Over the years, Mr. Cornil has developed and coordinated a very high level teaching and innovative pedagogical methods based on the new technologies, the globalization of information, interdisciplinary approach, self-learning and modern, hybrid teaching methods. The development of these methods aims to provide access to high value-added information and quality education for as many people as possible over the world. It makes it possible to combat fakes more effectively, and globalizes education, which also becomes more egalitarian and cheaper.
